Introducing Carlton North Chiropractor Dr. Simon Petersen
Dr. Simon Petersen started his chiropractic journey quite late. Whilst working in central Australia and Africa as a geologist he decided to begin to start lifting weights to keep his fitness up. "I was about to begin lifting weights when a college suggested I see a chiropractor to see if my back could handle it."
Since his father is a G.P and mother managers medical clinics; like Dr. Sassinis he was a bit sceptical. "Once I layed down at my first appointment and the chiropractor told me that I get headaches behind my left eye, which I did, I was hooked and amazed he could tell that from just looking at my spine."
The Chiropractor then gave Simon some books on the philosophy of chiropractic and it was like an awakening. So much so, that within four weeks he quit his job, applied for university and went to Africa to earn enough money to begin university the following year. Although the chiropractic course is very demanding, it has allowed him to treat, educate and inspire his patients towards better health.
"I love what I do and therefore do what I love. I can't wait to see new patients too inspire and challenge their belief systems." "I Love my Job."
